Ash resembles his sire in looks, build and athleticism. A strong dog, he is proving a great game finder and relishes competition and training.
Ash is a young dog but had done well with his early training and I felt he was ready for competitive field trials in 2023.
He was lucky enough to be drawn for a run in the Arfon Working Gundog novice trial at Bryn y Phys in October and ran a brilliant trial coming FIRST in his FIRST EVER TRIAL. What a start!
November 21st 2023 - Ash then wins his first ever two day OPEN field trial qualifier
Thanks to NWCFTA and all the judges, keeper and the Holden family for a memorable two days. We are looking forward to competing in the IGL Championship next week, whatever it may bring for a 2 year old dog!
I'm really looking forward to the future with him.
